These Medieval Swords are 36 inches overall. Practical Norman Swords have a 30" high carbon deeply fullered blade with the wide edges required by the re-enactment community. Grooved leather wrapped handle. The guard is wider than that of the earlier Viking designs that preceded this pattern. "Tea-cosy" type pommel. Scabbard is left plain for owner customization. Based on a classic 11th century pattern popular during the Norman Invasion of Britain.
Practical Viking Swords are 35 3/4" overall. These swords have a 30" unsharpened blade with blood groove. Black leather handle with polished steel guard and pommel. Dark brown wooden scabbard (scabbard matches handle color) with polished steel tip and throat. This is a functional sword made by CAS Hanwei.
These Medieval Swords are 43 3/4 inches overall. Practical Hand-and-a-Half Swords have a 34 1/4" unsharpened fully tempered steel blade with rounded tip. Handles has a black leather grip with metal cross guard and wheel pommel. A custom wood scabbard is included.
Tinker Longswords Blunt have an overall length of 47" with a 35" 5160 marquenched spring steel blade. Tinker Longswords provide the WMA practitioner with a fast, well-balanced sword that will perform beautifully in skilled hands. The Blunt Trainer features nearly identical handling to that of its sharp companion, but with thick edges and a rounded tip for safe sparring practice.
The Great Sword of War has an overall overall length of 47 5/8", it has a blade length of 35 7/8", a handle length of 11" and weighs 3lb 14oz. This sword is designed and crafted purely as a cutting sword and, weighing in at a little less than four pounds, it is built to excel on heavy targets. The 11" grip provides excellent leverage and static and dynamic balance are to Tinker demanding standards. The blade is again forged in 5160 and marquenched to HRC50-52. The hilt is retained by Tinker signature recessed sleeve mounting system, providing secure retention and easy hilt tightening, using the Allen wrench provided.
Reenactment Practical Bastard Swords are 49 1/2" overall. These swords feature a 38" fullered, unsharpened 5160 high carbon steel blade with blunt tip (5160 high carbon steel is used to minimize burring). The handle is 11" and is wrapped in a dye-able tan leather, allowing for individual customization. The Practical Bastard Swords also offer a Dye-able tan all leather scabbard with metal fittings. Stainless hilt and pommel. Built for re-enactors. The weight is 3lb, 10 oz which may vary slightly per sword.
